In the epilogue of phase 1 we see Jestress chasing an unknown gauntlet knight determined to kill them, her entire purpose for existing is to find and fight that person, so who is it?
In Data Fragment 16 we learn that the events of the story are following the script of the book of revelations, therefore it can tell us more about this scene.
Rev 12
[1] And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
[2] And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
[3] And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
[4] And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
In revelations chapter 12 a pregnant woman is being chased by a dragon who wants to kill her baby, with the symbolism in the script we can determine exactly who these two people are played by in Ciconia.
She is the one who chases the person in the scene but that doesn't mean much, after all Jestress has no connection to any dragon symbolism as far as we know, neither in her story or her design.
In the opening video of phase 1 there is a brief image of something at the 1:23 mark:
When adjusting the image you can see
that it's a gauntlet with what appears to be a winged dragon or serpent design on it. Additionally it's not just any gauntlet but it's Jestress' gauntlet. The shape is the exact same and you can see the rim of her dress to the side. Her usual gauntlet is a completely blank black slab without any design on it which is weird since all the other gauntlets are decorated. It makes sense that there is a hidden design on it that is activated by something. Possibly her (SSS) ability that is hidden.
The woman is clothed with the sun and the moon and wearing a crown of twelve stars.
